Proud Shrimpers aims to be a friendly, welcoming and inclusive Southend United Fan Group for all LGBTQ+ communities and Allies. We want to help make Roots Hall an inclusive space where everyone feels safe to be themselves, and promote further inclusivity across the footballing world.

We hope to empower LGBTQ+ Shrimpers & Allies to celebrate diversity and inclusion; drive positive change in attitudes; increase LGBTQ+ visibility while also ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all at Roots Hall and beyond.

Our group is open to all Shrimpers who identify as LGBTQ+ and our Allies. All are welcome who want to ensure Southend United is an equal, diverse and inclusive club.
